First Bank Interview
I showed up to my interview today in shorts and a T-shirt. The recruiter didn't mind, though, because it was over the telephone. It was the first phone interview I'd ever done, and one which would be an important factor in their hiring decision, so I was understandably nervous. The talk involved a discussion about the responsibilities and benefits of the job, which seem quite good. She also had a number of questions about situations I'd encountered in various work roles in which I'd tried to resolve issues, where I'd had disagreements with managers, and so forth. Though I had trouble thinking of specific examples for a couple of the questions, overall I think it went okay. By the end of the enterview she said she would send my information to the local branch here to get their recommendation. If they give me the thumbs-up, I'll have an in-person interview to determine whether they'll hire me for sure. So far, so good -- thank you, God!
